About Us
MAK's Hockey Academy and Leagues was incorporated in June of 2000. The Academy is sponsored by MAK'S Source for Sports. The Academy was formerly known as PHL Academy, Heads Up Sports Academy and Ancaster Hockey Academy. It was established in December of 1994.
Our mission is to provide quality instruction in the game of hockey. MAK'S Hockey Academy continues to develop new programs. We have plenty to be thankful for as we celebrate our 29th anniversary. Our accomplishments and successes are a result of our commitment to "be the very best" with the unbelievable support of our clients.
At all MAK'S Hockey Academy programs, it is understood that our instructors expect the best at all times from our participants. It is our philosophy that players aspiring to reach their maximum potential must "break their comfort zones" and recognize their failure points. When this is established, failure transforms into many small successes during a training season.
Our professional instructors encourage this process at all levels of player development. It creates an unparalleled sense of accomplishment, new found confidence, greater self-esteem, and a strong personal drive to achieve goals.
